Hello,
I'm Crystal

The graphic designer  You didn’t know you needed, but have subconsciously been searching for.

About

First impressions are crucial in design because they set the tone for how users perceive and interact with a product, service, or brand. The initial visual and sensory experience of a design can influence users’ attitudes, emotions, and behaviors towards it.

Research has shown that it takes only a few seconds for people to form an opinion about a product or website, based on its appearance and functionality. If the design is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and aligns with the user’s expectations, it can create a positive impression and build trust and credibility.

That is why I try my best to listen and communicate with my clients about their wants and needs, and design what they want, while adhering to these simple ideas.

PRINT DESIGN

1

What is Print Design?

Print design, a subset of graphic design, is a form of visual communication used to convey information to an audience through intentional aesthetic design printed on a tangible surface, designed to be printed on paper, or other rigid material, as opposed to presented on a digital platform.

DIGITAL DESIGN

2

What is Digital Design?

Digital design is a form of visual communication used to convey information to an audience optimized for viewing on a screen. It’s a subset of graphic design, made specifically for viewing digitally on phones, tablets, and computers. These digital assets are all built for devices.

Portfolio

A very small sampling of current or recently completed works. I will update my portfolio when time and projects permit.

Crystal Richards
Graphic Designer / Creative Director / Project Manager

Dear Prospective Client/Employer

In my almost 25 years as a graphic designer, I have taken on many roles from concept to delivery. I have been the graphic designer, creative director, project manager, production staff, and all around go to person to get things done. I have worked with numerous organizations creating everything from custom logos to brochures, newsletters, digital media, social media graphics, web graphics, magazines, flyers, posters, signage, apparel, etc. You name it and I have probably done it.

I am often asked for help to direct and manage teams, design, edit and create content. I have expert level prepress skills, and have worked with many forms of media and substrates. I have prepared pieces for every kind of press including traditional offset printing, digital presses, flatbed printers, plotters, wide format printers, DTG printing, screen printing and more.

In addition, I have several years of marketing experience, working with clients to boost social media reach, and creating email campaigns, and helping to promote their brands across various platforms.

I enjoy working with a team and helping others further their skills and development. I would love the opportunity to work with/for a company where I can grow in a positive and inclusive work culture environment.

Sincerely,

Crystal Richards
